PEDvolution Open Call for Demonstrators: Positive Energy Districts (PEDs) – Results

The selection process for the Open Call for demonstrators has now been finalised. The evaluation procedure, conducted in accordance with the criteria and process described in the call documentation, has been successfully completed.

The following three demonstrators have been selected for funding:

1. Mehrgenerationenhaus Giesserei – Oberwinterthur PED, Winterthur, Switzerland
   Applicant: Gesewo
2. HalNET – Hal PED, Antwerp, Belgium
   Applicant: Imby SRL
3. Collective Energy Cooperative – Attika PED, Attika, Greece
   Applicant: Collective Energy

The selected demonstrators will now proceed to the implementation phase.

The three funded applications were selected from a total of 15 applications submitted to the Open Call, representing 8 countries: Belgium, Greece, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Switzerland, Germany, and Slovenia.

The Open Call was published on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal on 1 May 2025 and closed on 30 June 2025.
