ZHAW represents PEDvolution at the Swiss Green Economy Symposium
Between 27th and 29th August, the PEDvolution team from Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), actively participated in the Swiss Green Economy Symposium (SGES) which took place in Winterthur, Switzerland. Widely recognised as the most comprehensive conference on economy and sustainability in the country, the event serves as a key platform to foster dialogue and collaboration between experts, organisations and stakeholders dedicated to sustainable development.
During the three-day event, ZHAW hosted a stand in the exhibition area to showcase PEDvolution, engaging withfield experts (including policymakers, researchers, industry leaders) and a diverse range of participants. The team had the opportunity to share dissemination material and inform visitors about PEDvolution, its ambition and expected results, reinforcing the importance of PEDs in achieving a low-carbon future. Additionally, ZHAW participated in valuable discussions on positive energy districts and broader decarbonisation challenges.
The event was a success, with an impressive 2,000 visitors attending over the 3 days. This high level of engagement underscored the significance of the topics discussed and highlighted the growing interest in innovative approaches like PEDvolution for achieving sustainability goals.
